E no principio, Yaman criou o R2D! Depois McLeod criou a luz! and so on and so on,...

Não querendo utilizar o nome D'Ele em vão nem tampouco comparar-me a Ele, mas acredito que sendo todos filhos de Deus, e que Ele omnipresente, está em todos nós, também nós pela sua presença podemos e devemos criar coisas bonitas e trazer felicidade a tantos quantos podermos.

E tudo isto para quê? Primeiro, lembrei-me de criar um espaço para todos vós, aqueles que têm ideias, aspirações, vontades de se tornarem conhecidos pela vossa musicalidade, e foi difícil aparecer o primeiro, mas lá chegou, o nosso amigo Agustin Haro da Argentina. Entretanto mais vieram, mas não foi aos pares que ainda não chegamos à arca de Noé, ainda estamos na genesis; e como em tudo, há que aparecer o primeiro para que os restantes ganhem coragem e se mostrem ao mundo. Desde já quero dar-vos os parabéns e a maior força pela vossa coragem e inspiração. Posto isto, hoje é a vez de Olecram Jos, um amigo do blog desde há muito e que decidiu mostrar-nos as suas ideias. De Belo Horizonte no Brasil, Ole deixou-me um pouco apreensivo com as suas experiências musicais, é que vindo do pais do calor, do carnaval, do samba, da boa disposição; a sua temática tem mais a ver com a rapaziada do norte da europa, onde o sol quase nem aparece no inverno e os momentos depressivos são frequentes. Mas não somos todos iguais e partindo deste fundamento apresento-vos o ambient\atmospheric progressive metal; como ele assim o define; de Olecram Jos. depois de ter ouvido alguns temas, retiro de um, a definição que tenho para aventura musical, Macabre music. Viajar por ambientes frios, sombrios, no crepúsculo, com encontros doentios e depressivos, e cenários incompreensiveis para a mente comum com cenas que parecem horrendas mas que depois de analizadas, não são mais do que outras formas de ver as coisas; é o mundo atmosférico por onde se move a mente de Ole. Gostei, não sendo o meu mundo musical, mas eu também tenho os meus momentos depressivos e melancólicos e por isso sou perfeitamente capaz de interiorizar este género de ideias, mas ficou-me um gosto a pouco, pelo facto de não aparecerem momentos fortes em que a guitarra em overdrive traria um climax à sua expressão musical. Mas a inspiração é dele e cabe-nos a nós gostar-mos ou não.

FATUM AETERNUM - THE PAIN [Maxi Single] (2015) ISRAEL

Fatum Aeternum release new maxi-single “The Pain”

After almost a year of silence, Fatum Aeternum presents their new work – Maxi Single “The Pain”, intended to be the first but not the last in a sequence of releases, aimed to be a new vision of dark rock and gothic metal. Renewed with strong electronics bit, arranged by Steve Gershin and completed by the sound production of George Falk, “The Pain” is a deep and highly visualized presentation of all the bands’ influences.

The band comments: “After releasing our previous single “One Bastard” we once again went into a creative search. It took us a while, but eventually we came across the combination that fits us both as a band and as individuals. This combination includes dominating atmosphere created by the new means of technology, specifically by Orion Platinum by Synapse Audio Software and Addictive Drums by XLN Audio. We’re very grateful to the creators of these amazing tools for helping musicians to achieve a great sound easily and with affordable price”.

Among others, the new musical style of the band preserves the elements from years back: expressional male and female vocals, heavy, yet atmospheric guitars and piercing violin solos.
As for the future, the band plans to continue the practice of maxi-singles, releasing new songs alongside reworked and improved versions of older songs that didn’t receive the exposure they deserve.

SPAINT Ink Management Deal With GlobMetal Promotions

Russian Alternative Metal band “SPAINT” has inked a worldwide management deal with GlobMetal Promotions.

SPAINT vocalist Mikhail Krasnov said: “This collaboration gives us the opportunity to spread our music all over the world and we hope the world will appreciate that, thanks to GlobMetal Promotions."
SPAINT is a Russian band formed in 2005 in Moscow, Russia. The band can be truly named a perfect example of a “middle way” in metal. Balancing on the edge of styles the band performs an integral mix of melody and groove, urgency and tradition. SPAINT is about the search for the quintessence of metal experience as well as for its new vectors. The band keeps itself busy with regular live shows and discography updates via Russian label "Mazzar Records". On December 23, the band released their new EP "МЕΛОΔIA".

NTH ASCENSION - ASCENSION OF KINGS (2014) UK

From northwest england, below the highlands, where the wind blows cold but the hearts are worm with joyfulness and inspiration, ascends a five piece rock act that in their own uncompromising way created a very interesting set of musical pieces. first things first, and before we go any further let me introduce you to these 5 very experienced gentlemen.

Darrel Treece-Birch, well known for his work playing keyboards with the british hard rock act TEN, started to brew some material in his spare time along with his long time friend and drummer, Craig Walker about five years ago, in 2009. Then came another friend to help the songs take shape and expression, Alan Taylor the vocalist. And then another friend joined in to give it a rocking sound, guitarrist Martin Walker, who by the way, is father to Craig And Gavin, this last one the bass player and the final piece to this project. This almost comes as a family business, and we might call it so, since they know each other for a long time. They are all experienced musicians in the british musical field.

NTH Ascension is a new project and "Ascension of Kings" their debut. Although they have already released a EP, "Frequencies of Day & Night" in late 2011; this is in fact their first album.

I hate to name influences, and when i refer to some artist or band, it's because i want you listeners to place yourselves in an invironment closer to the correct one, and if i can make you do that, well, happy am i for express myself in a way that everyone understands. The reason i don't like to do this collages comes with NTH as the perfect example; these guys have been around and they really know what they are doing, so it would be unfair to label them as  followers of someone elses ideas. Nowadays, with almost everything invented we must agree that everything sounds like,... everything else!

When if first started to listen to this album i immediately rejected some comparisons that i read in their press release. And why was that? Well, Alan gives the direction in wich we should focus; he is a soft Bernie Shaw, so Uriah Heep (Bernie's era) is a very good direction for this musical endeavour. Alan's vocal expression tends to the vibrato in the likes of Bernie, Roger Chapman or even Fish. I call this kind of singing "in dolore"; because it seems like they sing with pain or in pain. Then the keyboards struck me as a jean Michel-Jarre driven. If you can imagine this mix, we can go from here. Rock or to be more precise, soft hard rock, melodic, symphonic and progressive. This kind of progressive way that NTH plays is a very light one, very melodic and very joyfull to hear; this music is so easy! With majestic keyboard effects sounding like inmense landscapes, these tracks progress to a cinematic stage, where i can see just by hearing; isn't that the perfect music or what!? 

As soon as you get inside this album, you understand that this is a one man's ideal. And reading some more about the band i find the answer; Darrel brought the guidelines to the rest of the boys and they all worked around it. Darrel had already written the track "Vision" back in '91.

We have here a 8 piece record and about 57 minutes of delightfull music. Five songs vocalized and the other three being instrumental. In a very british tradition this kind of release goes straight to the plains where Asia, Marillion (fish's era), Uriah Heep, Mike Oldfield, Jean Michel jarre, and some others roam.

"Vision" is an inmense song, not because of the it's 18min. lenght, but because of the instrumental lines that join some spacequests with an arabian flavour of mistery, very sci-fi. And speaking of fiction, this record might give you the conceptual idea. It isn't totally wrong, but only part of it is. The Clanaad Chronicles, an idea developed around Narnia\LOTR concept is a story that will have it's development in future releases, in this release we only have 3 parts. 

Another interesting fact is Gary Hughes, the voice of TEN, that performs the backing vocals and was the engineer that recorded the vocal parts. Not strange the fact that Darrel and Gary are in the same band for this matter. Impressive keyboard work by Darrel by the way.

Along these amazing visual musical pieces we can find many images of some other artists like Fish and his Marillion era, some Pink Floyd words or some Tony Banks (Genesis), reflections, but for what it matters, this is a very professional work, greatly crafted and with it's own identity. This record wasn't meant to reach the best selling tops by it's commerciality, but to be recognized for it's quality, entertainment and contemporary reach. 

This isn't a release for all audiences, it has it's specific kind of followers, although i sugest that everyone should listen to it. This is music; not to rock your socks off, thats for sure, but to place you in dimensions of your mind and soul that you never reached, or want to live in.

Ain't the best of productions, but the work is so well crafted that we barely notice this. Maybe in the next release they can offer a more pristine work in the final mix, because this music is awesome, it should be presented in schools for the young ones to first know and learn about good music before they diverge to the bubble gum scene.

I'm very impressed!!! Congratulations are in order. Hope to hear so much more of this in the near future.

Septem Voices is a Russian band formed in 2006. The basic concept of the band is a vivid blend of rock, gothic, classical music and ethno. The band released their new EP  “Bez Vesny” on November 2014 by the Russian label "Fono", wich GlobMetal Promotions will promote.

Russian Nu Metal/Alternative Metal band BE UNDER ARMS has inked a worldwide management deal with GlobMetal Promotions.
The band vocalist Vladimir Nasonov says: "We started the cooperation with GlobMetal Promotions, as we are very interested in promoting the group in all possible ways, and we believe that this project really helps in this to young bands. We are waiting to see the reaction of the European public on our new album!"

The band formed at the beginning of 2013 by vocalists Anna Logacheva and Vladimir Nasonov, and in 2014 they released their first full-length album "Let shots will be your music" witch GlobMetal Promotions will promote.

DEVILSTRIP - RISE (2014) USA

America; the land of oportunities! Yes it is! From New york to L.A.; from Seattle to Miami, the space is filled with such powerfull airwaves, that turn us so addicted to them in a way we can't live without them, we crave for more and more...  For a country of 300 million, there is a lot of musical currents going on; nowadays, the tendency is a bit of a "bad Boy" atittude, but the subgenres are many.

Today a friend reached me to help him promote his work. But of course i said yes, thats what we are here for. One thing that he doesn't know, is that i don't kiss ass, i listen, i identify, i place it and then i work around my conclusions. then i try to reach the level that i placed it in and give my honest statement. Good or bad, like it or not, you need it. your path is outlined by the good things you need to bring out from yourself, the love you have for what you do, is your trademark, don't you ever forget it; and if opinions matter, so listen to them, evaluate e reajust, you'll see, the road we'll be less bumpy and wonderful to ride.

Given this, music it is! From Akron, in the great state of Ohio, comes a band that has a bright future ahead of them. Devilstrip is a three piece powerhouse band. when i say powerhouse, i mean a strong sound for a three guys hard rock band. they came together in 2013; Graig Lindgren, Bass & Vocals; Jimmy Gray, Drums & Vocals and Marc Wasmund, Lead Vocals and Guitar. They all had been playing in several cover bands and original projects in the rocking state of ohio, and like everything else, they grew and reached for more. With a lot of experience and a lot of dreams to fulfill, the chemistry between them worked so perfectly, that the first theme they wrote, came complete in about 20 minutes. 

So, what are we talking about here? - Hard Rock! Subgenre? - Many. Groove, Funk, Classic Hard Rock, a bit of alternative; all the things you like on your musical barbecue. Influences? By the backcover you see who, and frontcover too; damn i'm a poet, eheheheh. 

This is an independent record; independently produced and independently managed; about this i'll give you some advice in the end. Amazing sound! amazing atittude, great musicianship, the are very tight, I haven't listened a new band this good in a lot of time; please, be welcome to my world!

This debut will be sought like a rarity in the near future, mark my words. The level is very high, professional and very mature, these boys are on a roll here. 10 songs to rock your stereo off. 

The thing i didn't like. The first theme is wrongly placed. Is a song that has some adjustments to be done, it shows some jitters; a few arrangements are in order. But, nevertheless, a good song, just to be placed in the middle of the record. The first song is the most important, if the listener likes it, he'll continue with open ears and open spirit; if he doesn't like it, he shuts his availability and you have to be very convincent in the next ones to turn him around.

This record is a must have, a mandatory listening. It's a pure record, the guys are very loose, i sense here the family support, and that is a marvellous thing; if so, please keep it like that for as long as you live.

I read somewhere that there is a managing problem. My advice is that you keep yourselves very calm and write down what is that you want, discuss everything and compromise; then, you are ready to make the right choices. There is a band in sweden, that is seen as the best and biggest hard rock band in scandinavia. Rydell & Quick; husband and wive, they manage themselves, there is no record company forcing them to do anything the don't want; and for that kind of liberty, the prize is the Harley Davidson endorsement, their own trucks, their own stage and equipment, and above all, their own happyness. look for them or maybe give them a call, you will learn a lot.

This record, allthough the genre is very trivial nowadays because there's a lot being offered, specially in america; there is a fresh air running within these tracks, they can rise above a lot of offers. For me, a good 9 out of 10!
